No. True love is knowing someone and choosing to love them. Oneitis is telling yourself a fairytale about someone and being confused and hurt when they don't conform to that mold.

If two people develop mutual oneitis, that shit is a house of cards. First, that never happens, and second, two people lying to themselves about the other's flaws will never, ever work out in a healthy way.

Oneitis is the act of lying to yourself about someone. If you're really concerned about whatever you define as "true love" then oneitis should be at the top of your no-no list.

No. Because when two people Mutually care and love about each other, it's not oneitis. Oneitis is when those feelings aren't returned
