That's just pure manipulation on her part. Some women like to have orbiters, and when their orbiters start to pull away, they'll temporarily become friendlier towards them in order to pull them back in. If you show more interest, she'll cool back off very quickly. Ignoring it won't help either, because she's probably only interested in you as an orbiter. This is tough to swallow, I know :(

Focus on the one you're going on the 2nd date with. Just think: when you're in bed with her, are you really still going to be worrying about the first girl?

I have two rules for such things.

Rule 1: If you think it´s a shit test, you are not practicing (enough). Stop reading, start doing.

Rule 2: Treat everything with rationality. Emotionality rarely gives you reproducible results. Science for instance is based on rationality rather than emotions.

Let me explain to you what i am almost a 100% sure what is happening. She is genuinely your friend, at least she feels very close to you. You are like a girlfriend to her. This is not inherently bad like many people like to say, it is very beneficial. Of course you will most likely never be intimate with such girl, but since everyone needs closeness (non sexual) with other people, what would be a better choice than the other sex? If you have a close male friend you will probably know that you cannot talk about everything with him, he´s still a guy. With a girl you can open up completely, since it is natural to do so.

So, getting back to the point. She genuinely cares for you, something that is common for women, no matter what relation (women are beares of children after all, they are programmed to be caring). She most likely knows that you haven´t have many women in your life lately, and what does a woman feel when she realizes that a male friend she cares for, is missing something that is as important to her as air to breathe? Yes, she will feel compassion. You have a second date, and you know what she thinks? Well, neither do i, but most like it´s something along the lines of "That is soooo nice! i am really happy for him! He deserves to be happy!". Then she sends you this message, but she doesn´t think... she acts on her emotional high because a person that she is caring for, is experiencing "something beautiful".

I have a lot of females in my life, many friendships, and family. They all have one thing in common, they genuinely care for me. My 15 year old niece was lately asking me if was seeing someone, actually i do after a long time of being too busy with myself, and you know what she said? "that is sooo good for you! i am so happy!" She also sends me hearts in the chat at times, this is how women text. I have had this genuinely caring "i love you" from different femals in my life, even friends, and i can assure you i tested a few of them if there was attraction, there wasn´t.

So next time you ask if something is a shit test, try to think rationally, very rarely you will have a shit test, and as far it concerns me, it is very, very very obvious!

Sometimes when a girl gets nervous, she will blurt out something stupid like that. I once had a girl brag to me she drank a whole 32 ounce soda and didn't need to pee...wha?

Listen man, I didn't even read your post. I'm going to comment just on the title.

I recently learned one simple thing: everything, everything a girl asks you is a shit test. Treat it this way and you will win. Point being, always say less than necessary and be bold. She always tests you, even if she doesn't know it.
