Dates work best in whatever confines you deem to be comfortable. The more comfortable you are in a situation the better it will be for you.

Faster is usually better with the exception of sex.. ALWAYS start slow... you should ask her out for whenever her schedule is best. And be direct in your body language for your intentions. The way you look at her should not be friendly, you need to show your desire in your body language on that lunch date If that is your plan.

You really have to feel out the vibe because she’s not just a random. She’s in your class and by extension a social circle you’re in. Don’t be reckless.

Proceed as you said but don’t rush unless those are the vibes. Make sure you’re on the same page. You’ll know. Unless this is your or her last semester, then do whatever lol.
