Im reading the book The game by Neil Strauss and I do have results

I'll be short

I work in a restaurant as a part time and today I meet a new hostes. I just decided to go and talk to her directly I didn't care about how I felt or if I was scared to talk to her (she is kind of pretty 8 maybe ?) I just decided to ignore those feeling and be natural in some way. I talked with a lot of confidence like it was not a big deal (I was dying) I think she was easy to talk with or idk if confidence makes a difference. After introducing our selfs I think she demonstrated some interest in me here is where I need help, she asked me how old I am then I answered try to guess and she got it at the first time ( I think we are around the same age). After that we talked later (30 min later maybe, we were working) and I went to the front desk not exactly to see her, I asked her what she was doing she replied just reading she seemed to be bored I asked what are you reading and she showed me, I showed some interest about what she was reading and then she started explaining it she, seemed to be excited. she asked if I was studying what I was studying how long I have been studying she also showed this interest in my major (Architecture) and if I draw I replied yes I know how to draw a lot of stickmen she got confused but eventually she got it and laughed then I saw something she wrote about the book then I asked her what she wrote she tried to explain but I interrupted her and replied you know what ? I have a friend who can tell a lot just looking at your writing ( that's a technique of the book) she got interested at that moment my manager called me and fortunately or unfortunately because I didn't know how to continue with that game after that I wasn't able to talk to her until when I was leaving. I just walked near to her and said bye but she stopped me and told me you didn't read my writing I didn't know how to reply I just said when is the next time I'll see you and she replied that she doesn't know yet well I said maybe the next Friday and she said maybe I didn't have the courage to ask for her number now I think I should have done it I think she seemed interested but deceptionated. Finally, I left the place thinking in what I just did.

I know there is room for improvement but I'm not an expert yet every one needs feedback

How should I continue?
