Fellow Sedditors, let’s divert our talk of women for just one second and let’s talk about something that is incredibly important not only in seduction but in existing as a healthy human being. This key state of mind is about knowing the difference between Arrogance and Confidence. At first glance this does not seem important and it is often overlooked. After all, we do not notice how often these words are used in the same instance such as when we describe a cocky party goer or a boss who believes that he has far more power than he actually has. This can be very difficult: to tell the difference between arrogance and confidence. If you cannot tell the difference between them then it is fully possible to begin to worry about the things you do as being arrogant when you try to come off as confident. This can cause people to become intimidated, which is not very confident at all. In my opinion this is one of the biggest differences between so called betas and alphas. Being confident is terribly important because it sets the candidate apart from other betas who lack confidence and so go to terrible lengths to please her where as their alpha counterpart will do no such thing. This means that the alpha is worth respecting where the beta is so worried about her giving respect that she won’t feel inclined to do it in any case. This confidence is what makes the difference. It is a requirement to be confident, and so it is important to know the difference between being confident and being arrogant. I should have to explain why confidence is not only important for seduction but life in general.

The difference between being confident and being arrogant is that someone who is “higher” than the other person will treat them with respect and not like they are worthless. Meanwhile, the “lower” person will acknowledge that he has some power and has no reason to become intimidated by the “higher” person. Each will act like the opposite person is equal. Consider the scenario where an employee who is facing his boss for whatever reason. Since the boss has “power” over the employee he might become intimidated. This does not come off as especially confident and it gives the boss a “false” sense of power. While it is true that a boss has direct influence over the employee, the employee is surrendering far more away to the boss than what he signed on the contract to get the job in the first place. A confident employee will view his boss with respect and understand that he is above him in terms of raw power. However, he doesn’t let this bother him and so he treats him with respect while demanding his in return. He is capable of negotiating on fair terms with him because he has the confidence to know that his boss will not punish as long as he treats him with respect. Inversely, an arrogant boss will believe that he is truly above his employee and refuse to give the respect that the employee deserves. This will cause the employee to believe that they are being treated unfairly and as such will not give respect to the boss. On the other hand an arrogant employee will often speak out of line where as an intimidated boss will give the employee far too much power. It is a balance. The tool required to create this balance is confidence. This highlights the sheer distinction between arrogance and confidence where while one seeks to establish balance the other seeks to tilt the scale in their favor attempting to make them seem like the most powerful when actually they are hurting themselves.

In terms of approaching a girl confidence is as simple as knowing that at the end of the day you both have equal power instead of her being a lesser being. This means that a confident man will approach a woman and will act completely like himself because he knows that if the woman does not like what she sees then the two of them were not meant to be anyways. He doesn’t attempt to conform to her view on what a man should be and instead focuses on what he wants to be. Which is a great deal sexier, even to a straight guy like me. That sort of confidence implies many positive things about a person. Maybe she will attempt to make herself the lesser being or she may attempt to keep the equality. Whatever she choses, as long as equality is maintained there is no problem. However, if the Man decides that he is somehow above the woman then he is being arrogant. Causing him to disrespect her. These are the guys betas try to avoid becoming and as such lose their confidence because it will set them as far apart from the arrogant man as possible. While arrogance and confidence are both an alpha state of mind one it is difficult to tell them apart. Both women and men have a hard time understanding this. While one must be confident to be arrogant, one does not have to be arrogant to be confident. Truly confident people do not need to tip the scales in their favor in order to know that they have enough power and do not need all of it.
