Personally, I think that a desire to reach out like this and get feedback is an indicator of a needy personality and that should be addressed. I doubt you'd get a straight answer from most girls anyways if you get one at all. She'll likely sugar coat it with excuses along the lines of how the timing wasn't right or that she's really busy, maybe even adding in the (incorrect) fact that it ultimately wasn't any fault of your own.

Even if you get a valid reason, how is that helpful at all? You should be self aware to realize where things went wrong but also outcome independent to only use past mistakes for improving in the future. Maybe you sucked in bed, or she didn't feel the same spark as you did, or maybe she just met someone who she found more attractive.

I fully realize that wanting closure is a very natural human emotion. You get dumped, flaked, ghosted, curved, etc and want to know why to justify being treated that way. But at the end of the day, the reasoning for these things happening usually can't be rationalized fully so I wouldn't waste your time trying to do so.

I definitely wouldn't do it do a girl who meant a lot to me.

For a girl I briefly fucked or whatever then maybe I'd ask why we stopped talking etc.

For a girl I really liked? That's just bad news
