Context: 27 yo guy who was never able to even kiss a girl.

TL;DR: Went too far too fast and lost a good chance, still a win on my books.

Well, yesterday I went out for the first time with a group of guys that actually made me feel comfortable within the group.
One of them, lets call him Joe, literally met him yesterday, was super outgoing, to the point of just having fun, and I'm really trying to have fun so I just copied over this guy's energy the whole night, he started dancing with the group, I'll match the energy and intensity of the dancing, lets get some drinks? Sure bud I'm going with you to hell and back if we have to.

Anyways at some point he comes and said something like "hey come with me the friends of this girl are available to dance", I obliged and went with him and lo and behold indeed I just extended my hand (thanks alcohol for making me forget my crippling anxiety) and I started dancing with one of her friends, things started to get interesting in like no time, dancing really close, she was grinding on me and letting me get my hands wherever (of course me being respectful, I didn't like grab her breasts or anything).

Anyways before you make any illusions I of course fucked up by being way to forward and just asking her if I "could kiss her", definitely too soon and too high.

 

She just scrambled and went away lol. I still consider this a win due to the fact that this proves to me that unless you try you don't get to dance, kind of ashamed for being so straightforward when it was unnecessary, I was actually having fun dancing with her.
Anyways, like I said, lesson learnt and for next time, let the sexy dancing carry on instead of trying to seal the deal in like 60s.
