I know, it's stupid. I shouldn't give a fuck about what people call me. I should GAF about myself and expressing myself. But in the past few weeks, a few girls have literally run away from me. One was particularly devastating. We had awesome chemistry, were joking around about not trading numbers for "serendipity" purposes. Kissed her once. Finally, saw her on campus and asked her out. She agreed, flaked, and the next time I was her, I asked WTF? She literally ran.
It's always girls I entertain slightly more romantic notions about. I look at them a lot before approaching. Or I approach, we have good chemistry, and then shit falls apart when I like her. I know, purge oneitis, but that just leaves me with a bunch of random hookups and girls who like me a lot more than I like them. The sex is cool, I guess, but ultimately, it's more rewarding to fuck girls I really like and find challenging.
I guess rejection is a good thing--filters out incompatible girls, but this seems like a pretty severe reaction people are having to me repeatedly. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong and how to get over this limiting belief.
