Some girls would give you the contact just because they are polite but at the same time they immediately know they will not reply. This is nothing wrong with you. But to mitigate this you could:

Try to set up an indirect date before asking for a contact and use that as an excuse for asking for a contact. Meaning your goal should be to find something you both like doing (idk tennis for example) and tell her something along the lines like you are going to play a tennis with your friends in a near future and she could join. If she agrees she will definitely write back. If she hesitates and is coming up with all sorts of excuses you don't bother even asking for a contact. This way you can filter-out the ones which will not reply.
Cutting the conversation short when you feel like she "needs more of you". Basicly leaving the conversation open-ended. You should talk about some exciting topic you know she really craves but accidentally you need to cut it short and leave. This you can use as an excuse to continue in a conversation by text and she will most likely reply.
Not writing first after exchanging contacts is a good indicator of how you did. If she decides to write you first you are on a good path and build from there. This basicly lowers her value a bit and builds your value but you might also loose some good girls this way.

Club/bars connections are usually very flaky. You either talk/make out/fuck that same night or it ends there anyway.

Those are temporary interactions limited to that specific context or situation, outside of that, it’s another world.

Night game is not cut and dry because you need to read where the girl is at. Some girls you can talk to within 5-10 minutes and you can make out if you escalated properly. That gives you a far higher chance to actually pull her that night or have a solid number. If she's not receptive to escalation you got to move her around and build a deep connection if she's not up for doing anything same night. If she's out with friends try and pull her away from her friends for a little bit to somewhere more quiet, if she's not in earshot/eyeshot of her friends see if you can escalate more easily.

Your other options are to build attraction with multiple girls, collect multiple numbers and text each one later that night what they're up to and if they're willing to hang.

Girls in clubs are not really into the idea of meeting up again a guy they met at a club unless they slept with him that same night and even then they still may not be into seeing him after having sex due to feeling “ashamed” (Recall the walk of shame).

The reality is women in clubs just want to have fun and then forget what happened that night. They will give the number to most guys who ask regardless of the interest, because giving a number does not mean they are committing to anything, it’s just a way to get the guy to leave them alone as he got what he wanted without any tension that would arise from telling him “NOT INTERESTED”.

So it’s not that you are a wierdo or anything, it’s that they simply don’t interpret giving you a number the same way you do. For them it’s just meaningless to give guys their number. For you it might be a big deal.

Enjoying company is fine, but if you don’t escalate to kissing and sex, you can be sure that they are extremely unlikely to want to see you ever again even if they gave you theier number themsleves without you asking for it. Because there is no reason for them to follow up, you are just one of the countless of guys who they had a nice time with, nothing special for them about that. It might be speicial for you because you don’t always get that opportunity, but for them it’s just the usual routine.

So always remember that girls don’t plan on wanting to see any guy they meet in a club again unless they slept with them. And even if you sleep with them, that still doesn’t mean they want to see you again, alltough your chances can increase.

So it’s not about prolonging the conversation and getting numbers, it’s about isolating the girl in the club away from her friends and then escalating (kiss close) and taking her home to have sex.
