I finally lost my v card this weekend as a 26 male! The reason why I'm so happy is because it happened on my terms completely. I chose to pursue this girl, and lead the entire interaction. We hit it off really well and I finally broke the kiss barrier and just went for it. That was my major sticking point in the past. I attribute my success mostly to the advice on this subreddit so thank you guys tremendously.

Now I know I still have a lot of work to do. I was so nervous I could only stay hard for 30 seconds to a minute while inside her at a time. Good thing though is that I was able to make her cum with my hands and mouth. I was hoping that I could get some advice on how to deal with sexytime jitters/ed so I can perform better in the future. I plan on quitting porn and fapping less too. I've been pretty stressed and had poor sleeping habits as well lately so that could be a factor.

Edit: A couple people are asking me to tell my story/journey so I thought I'd share.

Edited again for length

I started reading stuff on this subreddit starting about 5 years ago. I was pretty skeptical at first and didn't take much of this seriously. Then one day I kinda "woke up." I realized how unhappy I was with my life, friends, performance in school, no women in my life, poor future job prospects. All I did was smoke weed all day and skip class (was in college at the time), and pulled a 2.0 GPA. I was pretty socially awkward, and didn't talk much because I was stuck in my own head. My drug use started making me extremely anxious when I was in public (too paranoid or something). So I made a commitment to myself to change for the better. I started kicking ass in school, started reading fashion articles and dressing much better, worked on powering through my anxiety, worked out like a machine and began running/lifting heavy again, I volunteered as a tutor, volunteered as a research assistant (all things that this subreddit will suggest you do), and believe me girls began to notice all of this stuff. I used to think girls weren't interested in the "nerdy guys" that sit in the front of the lecture room and ask questions of the professor. I was wrong. In college the girls there are intelligent and are looking for guys who are driven in life, and sitting up there in the front and speaking up shows you have confidence, which we all know women love.

I dated a few girls in college but due to my insecurities and hesitancy in making a move, none of them ended up working out. I kept working to improve myself throughout this time by reading stuff on seddit and trying to get more experience. I kept working on basic social skills as well and meeting new people.

I graduated school and started working and applying to grad school. I now work at a fairly large company in an entry level position. I live with my parents while doing a masters program. Living at home can make things difficult with girls. However, if you're confident and have a plan for how you're going to get out of that situation, I've found that a lot of girls won't care that much, but for some it may be a deal breaker. I started with the bar/club scene but haven't had much success at all, I'm still working on this aspect of my game. Eventually I found out about day game. I love day game. The first time I approached a woman in daytime with the intent of hitting on her, getting her number, getting to know her, etc. I was so pumped after and felt a huge adrenaline rush because there is no alcohol to numb your feelings. I guess you could do the same with night game if you don't drink. Anyways I've had much more success with daygame. I started talking to one girl I see around at my work. Eventually we went on a couple of dates. I know she was super interested, even after I told her I live with my parents she was still interested. The reason why is because I was brave enough to go up and talk to her in person and introduce myself (don't wait around forever to make your move). Plus we had stuff in common and good conversational flow, I was playfully teasing her, and all that other fun stuff we learn on here. We get to the date 2 and she's been dropping hints that she wants to get physical. At the end of the date its time for the kiss but I pussy out again! Well after this I kinda hit a slump. For several months I was moody and a little depressed. Job started getting to me and school pressure. I realized that this was happening though and started reading self-improvement again and influencing my thoughts to become more positive. It worked.

Now about this girl that I lost my virginity to. Basically she added me on Facebook. I'm like, "Ok, this is random but I'll just talk to her and see what happens." This whole interaction I was just trying to be very friendly and positive and asking her questions about herself. She was doing the same thing. I did throw some flirting in though between the getting-to-know each other stuff. We talk about our hobbies and I let her know I've been lifting for many years and she says she is just starting to get into it. I send her a pic of me at my peak physical condition (I let her know I'm not in as good shape anymore). Shortly after this she mentions she will be visiting friends in my area soon (hehe ;]). So we make plans to meet up after her friends leave town. I take her to a local venue and we catch a show. We talk more and form a rapport. Towards the end of the night I started grinding up on her. We are towards the back of the club and things start getting pretty heavy. After the show she doesn't want to stop grinding but I take her hand and lead her out of the club. Something important I forgot to mention is that I led the entire interaction after she hit me up on Facebook initially. I planned out the date, told her where we were going, what we were doing, what she needed to do. Basically I just took the lead and acted as the man in our relationship dynamic. I take her back to her hotel and we talk for a bit, then I make a strong move to go and kiss her. We started getting really into it to the point where she starts moaning softly. I then say, "Are you sure you don't want to invite me upstairs?" She tells me that her friend is sleeping in her room so we can't. He is awake and they are sharing the bed (this guy has a girlfriend and is totally committed to his girlfriend). But she then suggests that I come over early the next morning after he has caught his flight. I go over to her hotel and...the rest I'll leave to your imaginations!

tl;dr Basically my story is that I slowly learned how to be a man in the dating relationship dynamic. It's pretty simple: be confident, lead the interaction, and show your intent. Self-improvement is important in improving your options of women to choose from.
