The trick is to make it known to her that you are interested but at the same time are not afraid to lose her. The way to do that is to be assertive and take risks.

If she is interested, and is afraid you will disappear, she will give in.

If she is interested, but you made it obvious you are there for her 24/7, she will go for the other guy who is not. Its not that she is a bitch for going for the other guy, its just that human beings are more attracted to things that they cannot get. Someone who slips away seems more valuable.

I think that's actually the most basic form of what we're doing here.
