Just get into the habit of talking to strangers.

Sometimes when I'm walking around alone what I do is sit down next to strangers, shake their hands, introduce myself, and begin a conversation. Sometimes I like to break social norms, do something stupid. It lets yourself understand that it isn't as bad as it really is you know. Sets the state of mind you want to be in.

Remember that you don't always have to always be talking to women as well. Talk to guys and girls, the same skills apply.

Also, when you talk to girls, don't always go with the intention of getting a number or a pick up. A lot of times I'll talk to random girls without any sexual intent. This builds comfort for them, and it allows you to build comfort in talking to girls randomly as well. Get used to talking casually.

The hardest part is always initiating and this just comes from inhibitions. Clear your mind, don't over think it. Don't think, just do.

You do sales for a living but you can't approach girls? Shit, girls are the easy part. You don't have to worry about not being able to make rent or buy groceries when you fuck up with girls. Just go out and have fun, try to make people laugh.

You're in an open marriage. You seriously have nothing to lose. You know about building rapport? Talking to girls is 100% practicing that. Why do we call it a k-close and an f-close? Because seduction is exactly like sales. People make decisions based on their emotions, and if you know how to make people feel good you basically have everything set.

You just gotta MAN THE FUCK UP! Seriously.. Approaching is one of the most difficult steps! The best way to handle it is this... Stop approaching with the thought that you're gonna get laid or even have a conversation past 5 minutes. Get a small routine. Run it over and over Word for word. Eventually the approach will become easier, but I dOnt know if approach anxiexty err goes away 100%

Dude, I think we're twins. I work retail also and it pains me when I don't approach or talk to girls outside of my work. It's so easy when you're working.

Right now I keep a log of all the people I talk to outside work (men & women). It helps me get out of my comfort zone and practice.
