Hey guys,

So recently in the comments I have been noticing a small trend of people feeling that Seddit has merely become r/selfimrpovement and are disappointed that Seddit is not appearing to give the sort of "how to" guide to a woman's bed. I'd like to put a write up addressing this issue in a way that I think might make sense and help put some of these issues to rest.

Just like anything most things start with the basics, and self-improvement and inner game is a big part of that

You have to crawl before you can walk. A lot of posts on here are indeed guys (and girls) who are brand new to trying to figure out to how approach the people they find attractive and getting to a new level with that person. So a big reason why you may find that self-improvement is talked about a lot is because really before you can even begin the process to attracting others you have to find yourself attractive. I like to compare it to golf. Before we can even begin thinking of going out on the golf course, we have to go to the driving range and get you a basic swing. Because I could send you out on the course with the best caddy on the PGA and he would be unable to help you because you don't even have a swing to advance the ball.

That is what self-improvement is for. It's to get someone to a base line where they are now in the position to have success. Self-improvement is not everything don't misunderstand me, it's just a big part that can't be ignored. Could the best people here on seddit give a guide to someone who is in bad shape that might work? Possibly. It's just a lot harder, and so that is why many of the posters here on Seddit try to help the person in need to get themselves in shape first, before then getting to the next step of the process.

Seduction runs the gamut. It's not exclusive to one specific goal or desire

Pop-culture has done a little bit of disservice to seduction. When most people hear the word, the first thing that comes into the mind is the thought of a man who charms every single woman in his path to get naked and fuck him right then and there. Don't get me wrong, there are those who can do this and are very skilled. The myth is thinking that this is the end goal that every person wants. I have mentioned this before. There are some guys who want a new girl every night, there are some guys who want something short term, and there are some who want something for the long haul. Seduction runs the gamut in all of these things. The principles are the same. You will have different tactics of course depending on your goal. The reason why I mention this is because there seems to be a surprise that the front page isn't littered with stories of men bedding the hottest women. This is because, like I mentioned earlier, this community is more diverse then you think. It's full of many different people with many different goals and this community can and does help with all of that.

Seddit is not a magic box

The previous topic merges nicely with this one. It's important to remember, the community here on Seddit are not magicians. In fact I believe that one reason why there may be some disappointment as of late is because many posts are asking general questions thinking the community can wave a magic wand and fix everything for you. We can't. What we can do though is take in a very specific situation and the more information you give us the better chance we can help. That is what is nice about Reddit, if you can't seem to find the post with the answers you are looking for you can make a post of your own asking the specific questions. We're willing to put in the work if you are.

That I feel address most of the common issues I have been seeing as of late. I hope this post helps in making things a bit clearer. Also bear in mind this is just my opinion as a user of this sub. If I am totally off my rocker by all means say so. On the other hand if you think it rings well and you have some extending points to add please do. I think it can help in improving the overall community.

P.S This post will probably come from a more guy/girl perspective because that tends to be the majority of those who use the sub. Rest assured these principles can work for any relationship and any individual.
