Rules are great to get around a lack of confidence; or while building it; but once you have it most rules are unnecessary and can actually hurt if the other person sees through them. I had a first date last night in which I purposely (as well as accidentally) broke some attraction and seduction rules and still got multiple kisses and a next date. For example, she changed the date location on me two days before our date and I agreed to it. I leaned into her while sitting at the table instead of leaning back to display masculinity. I told her I couldn’t wait to see her again instead of playing it cool. During our walk I started sweating (it was humid). But the one thing I didn’t change was my confidence, because it’s just there. So throughout the night I held her hand when I wanted to, ignored my sweat or what she may think of it, went for kisses when I felt like it, and was simply myself. So yes, attraction and seduction rules can be helpful sometimes, but they can never replace confidence. So to those having trouble with dating, I say focus first on yourself and building yourself up, and the rest will come, rules or no rules.
