i also have this problem, there’s someone i’ve been wanting to try to make a move on for weeks and i’ve planned my approach but every time i get the opportunity it’s like my whole personality dissolved and i’m on autopilot lmao

It's the same way when there is no pressure on humans, they perform so you just have to figure out what reduces the pressure for you

Same. Infact, I go mute & they think I'm a stand-off bytch. It's an anxiety thing coupled with the desire to appear perfect & fear of screwing up. Being vulnerable & comfortable in your skin is from a level of maturity & experience that allows that sort of honesty to work in your favor. As I've gotten older, I've come to realize that life's truly too short to wither away on a prolonged fantasy by not being honest with yourself. It gets better with time, but don't wait until you're far past your prime to let your charm exude. Know that as insecure as you might feel, they're probably feeling just as bad. It's very rare to find people who are truly comfortable in their skin. Take away the surface stuff like make-up, money, wigs, cars, clothes, shoes, nails, confidence immediately shatters. Learn to be comfortable in your skin, accepting of who you are, & if they don't find that genuineness attractive, they probably never will once they come to know the true you anyway, so don't be afraid to be you.
