A few days ago I was going out (EDIT: it was at a club) and noticed a girl standing nearby and caught her glancing in my general direction a few times. Whether or not she was actually glancing at me, I don't know for sure but I decided I had to approach. I waited too long though (about a minute), and another guy swooped in and approached her. I felt like such a loser and was so mad at myself afterwards.

A while later, I approached an other girl within seconds of noticing her. It felt so good! I didn't really close though. I'm a newbie. But it was a friendly chat and just the fact that I approached gave me such a rush. I've approached

I have realized that Mystery's 3 second rule is what I need most. The rush of approaching beats the disappointment of not approaching any day. Even if you don't manage to close, the fact that you have the balls to approach will make you feel like the world is at your feet. And it is!

Just wanted to share this for those who, like me, are just getting started. You might dread cold approaching first. But once you start doing it, it's actually fun. Follow the 3 second rule, guys! (At least most of the time)
