So id set something up like “hey it was nice seeing you today. There’s a new place downtown that ive been meaning to try out, would you be down to go with me. Say saturday at 7pm?”.

All this waiting around is just a forced method to show indifference, and it's a massive mistake. Guys read that they should act indifferent, but they take it to extremes and use it everywhere. Indifference only serves a purpose at the very start of the approach to show you're not mesmerized by her beauty. We're talking 1 - 2 minutes around the opener, after that, drop it.

Dude, you should not be hitting on women at your job sites. That's creepy and can get you in trouble for sexual harassment. The only time it is ever appropriate to hit on a woman in any professional function is if she shows an extreme amount of interest so that it is obvious she wants to hang out with you. And even then you need to be careful.

You also fucked up on asking her out. You should just invite her something at a time or place. But again, you should not have been hitting on this girl in the first place.
