I have this ex, and who she dates is fine with me, but this "alpha male" is playing her like a fiddle which I also wouldn't mind except for she HAS MY SON.

He strings her along, pushes her away, comes back into her life fucks her, and pushes her away, in and out. Comes back in, takes some money, gets her into some bizare financial tangle, pushes her out. Comes back in and promises shit. Fucks her, dumps her, gives her diseases, seems to have 20 women. Always lying to her, always putting her down or degrading her in subtle ways it seems. She tries to beg for him, wade on him hand and foot while he seems hate and be annoyed by my 2yr old son, and I've been told he rides him hard over just being a kid. I didn't appreciate that he got her addicted to cigarettes either, but she smokes outside, so whatever.

Every time I end up cleaning up the mess for her, and my son, as she comes back crying to me about it all. He is clinically and legally insane, and seems to go into bizare fits, seems very confrontational ... and I really don't want to deal with him, and even more really don't want him in my sons life, but in the end I have no clue how to deal with this, what to do, or even get through to her. Even worse, when he dumps her it he says things like he has to leave her because he is "afraid he might hurt my son" because of his insanity.

To be honest she seems crazy too (I was amazingly stupid to get her pregnant) , she can't seem to pick a guy to save her life, and can't seem to hold down a relationship to save her life either. I really don't want to sue the fuck out of her in a prolonged custody battle, but man what I wouldn't give to create some more stability for my son.
