Hi guys, need your opinion something that might be changing my perspective.

Quick background on me: I'v been in decent amount of relationships and hookups and understand the basics of attraction.

My perspective on things is that Looks come first then career/money when it comes to attraction, so I constantly working on that everyday of my life, I'v been using tinder for all my relationships/hookups in the past 4 years.

So today in class there was this guy (about 5'10, avg build and face) that asked a question to the prof and got absolutely flamed for it by her because he wasnt paying attention or something. Anyways, when the class ended some girl (she was pretty cute) basically asked for his number. She went up to him and said if you ever need help with this class we can study together and asked for his number. I was shocked because I'v never seen that happen before. Granted if he was model tier I would understand but he wasnt anywhere close, also when we were leaving the class another girl went up to him and told him to not worry about and some other words I didnt really hear. So my question is, I need your opinion if this was just an anomaly? or is my view on attractive way off? Or is attraction really just random and falling into her type? Because usually I get success and see others get success when the girls are physically attracted. But this guy in my opinion was not? Especially not enough to get girls asking for his number, but good for him though.
