It seems to be a common thing where a girl tells me "I wouldn't hook up with you" or something similar without the intention of hooking up with me, and then we end up making out. A friend of mine that I hooked up with told me that she never expected to make out with me and then we just randomly made out while drunk. It's never happening again apparently and when I asked her if it's a good thing that I'm told those things and they happen anyway, she said it's a good thing because it's like I come out of left field. I'm not sure what that means. Am I just not taken seriously enough for a hook up or something?
