I'm new to Tinder and so far I've only gotten what you might call instant matches. Meaning I've only matched with girls who had swiped right on me before they were shown to me, so that when I swiped right on them a match happened instantly.

I'm wondering about delayed matches - meaning when you swipe right on a girl who has not yet swiped on you, so that if a match is to happen, it would happen at some later point when she swipes right on you.

For the last 3-4 days I've swiped on a ton of girls and only got one delayed match (meaning I swiped on a girl and at some later point got a match with her) when I superliked a girl.

So, this got me wondering, what is the time delay typically between swiping right on a girl and then matching with her, assuming a match happens at all.

Is it a matter of minutes, hours, days, weeks?
