I used to think the difference between a beginner and an intermediate was 30 lays. I've now realized the biggest difference is the freedom to approach. This is built up by, as most coaches recommend, approaching everyone.

The thing is that's amazing advice for a beginner because it will move you into the realm where you feel free to talk to who you want. You'll become unstifled and learn the art of boldness. You will discover courage is just 10 seconds of embarrassing bravery. Once you're there though it becomes counterproductive to take the shotgun approach. It is possible to burn yourself out doing this.

When you no longer struggle to approach, there will be days where you just shouldn't. If you feel like shit maybe you'd be better off asleep. If you see a girl and she looks busy and you know you could approach her, know you have in harder situatuons, you know the odds your analysis is accurate are good. You could save that 10 seconds of courage for another girl.

You'll start to see recurring patterns in which approaches work for you, for most of us that means there won't be much point approaching big groups without solid invitation once you've built the testicular fortitude from having done so a few dozen times. Your sticking point won't be confidence, it will be escalation, keeping the conversation going, sexual vibe, etc. You won't need to work on opening for a while, since that's the case you'll want to be pickier with your targets so you can invest the effort better and improve at a quicker rate. A girl on her own will be much better practice for most skills than a big group of people.

This will develop the incredibly underrated skill of picking the down girls. This is of primary importance. There is a significant population of girls in this day and age who go out to get laid. Most girls engage in casual sex at some point of their life. It's far easier and less manipulative to find a girl already looking for a good dicking then it is to convince a girl to take one from you.

Just some food for thought.
