Occasionally, I still hear people brag about being the man in bars. People claim to go out 3-5 times per week, bringing new chicks home every night. You still see this in sitcoms, and movies, but of course the big screen is not real life. True, or do you call BS?

In my experience bars have been one of the worst places to meet chicks. First off, chicks just don't generally hang out there so guy:girl ratio is usually 10:1, except on weekends and ladies nights. Most bars you don't want to go home with the chicks that frequent there, they look like biker chicks, or typically very overweight. A lot of other guys are angry, drunk, or on drugs and will try to start fights with anyone who looks at them wrong. Careful, they could have a knife or a gun in their glove department. Stay away from shady pool halls, and stick to joints that are big chains and will add you to the email list. If it's a run down dive bar that puts their specials in chalk in front it's run down and could be trouble.

Many times they go in groups of 2-3, which makes them more difficult to approach, and they typically want drink(s), which starts to drain your wallet and usually your fun. This doesn't guarantee anything, not even a phone number! Competition is higher in these locations so you need to bring your A-game. Get a haircut, wear a clean shirt that is relatively new, smell nice, and be in good shape. Nowadays, with all these apps and online dating where women dominate they don't even need to go out to meet new guys. Chances are the average chick has 20 guys in her queue, ready to buy her coffee or take her out to dinner.

My advice is to move it to your place or her place. Generally, she will be more willing to go to her place or a hotel, and if she carpooled with friends forget it just get her number. Those places can be rather pricey so hopefully she is really attractive, otherwise why didn't you just hire an escort?? You'd be better off staying sober through the night, if you can manage shitty music, and boring sport's games without liquor. If you are going solo it's better to approach chicks in groups of 1-2, unless she looks at you and smiles. As it gets closer to closing time women will have probably broken down their walls and willing to talk to guys. While the average chick is probably not interested in ONS you may find a couple willing to give it a shot, and they might actually be good-looking too! I'd say it's pretty challenging to convince her to go home, so you must be pretty handsome, or spit some wild game.
