I read your advice. It wasn't particularly good or helpful. Let me repost it here:

Think about it from his perspective. You just insulted him twice and linked him to a random pdf. I know that your intention was to help him, but you just came off as really rude. Basically perpetuating that stereotype of the pickup community.

Unfortunately, seddit advice (outside of this subreddit) tends to get downvoted into oblivion even when it is appropriate. I admire your willingness to help, but sometimes you just have to shake your head and move on.

can someone explain to me what's so wrong about this nice guy routine? it seems that seddit will help guys pick up girls and develop confidence, but when youre looking for an actual relationship it doesn't hurt to stay classy.

the only problem i can spot is that he's not really kino escalating. what else am i missing? fill me in, guys.
