You're using a variant of an exact phone game tip I heard. Set a specific time to phone her at an odd minute like 8:05 instead of 8PM. Call her exactly at 8:05. She will remember it. Keep doing that. Then about the third or fourth time, call her like 5 minutes late. She'll be bursting with anticipation for 5 whole minutes before that call.

Love the "are you even old enough to vote"!

This all seems pretty solid to me. The only text that really stands out is your longest text, but it still kinda worked for me. When I get the old "reschedule" I never do it for the next day, I always skip a day, mostly so I don't need to explain that I'm busy the next day, it's just implied. I also never involve food on a first date. But that's just a personal preference.
