Most guys constantly worry about things outside of their control instead of things in their control, like how they were born. I will say that physical attractiveness does matter, and it will help to get you in the door, even though personality and game is more important for seduction and LTRs.

There are multiple easy ways to increase physical attractiveness that most guys don’t realize: lowering body fat (makes face and body look better), lifting, getting a good haircut (preferably a mid-fade), dressing well, wearing jewelry, taking care of skin and health, growing a beard, shaping up eyebrows, getting a tan, mewing, etc.

Worse comes to worse, if you are extremely ugly, you can get plastic surgery, but the obvious downsides are that it will cost you a lot and if it’s a bad surgeon then you’ll be messed up for life.

Regardless, I think guys worry about physical attractiveness too much anyways. For online dating it’s a bigger factor, but I personally don’t use online dating and have had a lot more success in real life.

The reason why I say physical attractiveness doesn’t matter as much as you think is because I’ve known multiple attractive guys, including myself, that had no success with women simply because we were shy, insecure, and awkward, despite being “easy on the eyes”. Of course in this situation, even if a girl is attracted to you physically, she will still go with the ugly guy because he actually turns her on with his confidence and charisma, whereas you come off as a weirdo or nerd.

That’s why I am saying that you should be more focused on improving game and charisma. But of course, looks do matter to an extent, especially if you want a girl who is an 8 to 10 or high status. Looks also help give a better first impression, especially if you are in shape, groomed, and dress nice, which will give you an advantage over other guys. But all these things are in your control.
