Pick-up bootcamps, are they worth it?

I'm of the philosophy that 1) you should not have to spend a ton of money to get good with women and 2) this process takes time. In other words, a weekend-long bootcamp of putting yourself in VERY uncomfortable situations and pushing your limits to the extreme may help, but is not the best way to go about it.

Overflowing your senses (i.e. jumping in the deep end and trying to learn to swim) can be overwhelming. I'm a firm believer in taking baby steps. Start with your weak points and focus on those, then move up. After a while it will all come naturally. Practice makes perfect.

Disclaimer: I've never done a bootcamp and don't plan to, so I can't offer anything as to how a bootcamp has benefitted me.

You should probably try to teach yourself first.

People constantly shit on boot camps, I think it's crazy. With every other thing in life you can learn SOOO much faster with a teacher than by your self. And they there could even be symple problems you doing that they could tell you. And that can give you taylored advice.

I feel like a big part of why it takes people so long to learn this is Cuz they have to do trial and error, come up with ideas of what went wrong or wright. Don't know where to look for advice, and it's just a lot to manage by yourself. A coach should be able to improve that.

(If you are suffering from approach anxiety you should probably fix that first)

Granted not all coaches are nesecearaly good.

Depends who the bootcamp is with, which depends on where you are located or are willing to travel to. Where are you located or willing to travel to? Which companies are options you are considering? Do you have independent coaches near you? I have my own coaching business but I coached for one of the big name companies back in the day.

Prices vary by company or instructor.

Before dishing out for a boot camp, try reading and applying Models. If that doesn't work, try to go out a few times with a friend who is good with girls, which will cost about 50 bucks in drinks. Only when you've exhausted going it alone and have zero guys to wing with would I consider paying for a boot camp
