I'm 6'5" so almost every girl seems short. If there are seating options then sitting is beneficial for both of us. Also, dancing with short girls sucks because they basically grind on my quads. In conclusion, I do what I gotta do.

Uuhm, just don't worry about it? Unless you're freakishly tall like +2.10 meters I wouldn't make an issue out of it. I'd rather taller than shorter, trust me.

Just don't worry about. Tall guys are preferred, even by many short girls.

If you are in a situation where sitting is possible lead by saying "Hey lets grab a seat!" Also the girl probably will not mind that you are taller than her. In fact she probably loves it!

Yes. You are over-thinking it. This is only awkward if you think it is. Girls tend to like taller guys and you're somehow managing to convince yourself that this advantage is a disadvantage. This is in your head.
