So i have being struggling with this because to me "the game" is not fun. Is something i gotta do because i wanna be with somebody but i dont find it fun.

I read that i should just enjoy the club, act silly and talk to people just for the fun of it and be "agenda free" but the truth is that if i wasn't there to pick up women, i wouldn't be in the club on the first place. When im alone with my friends and as socially comfortable as i can be, then i dont goof around, i dont feel the necessity or the impulse to do stupid/silly things or dance, on the same level as most people dont feel the need to burn 100 bills on a regular basis. By this i mean its not even register in my mind to do such things. We talk, we share theory (philosophy, etc) or complain about this or that movie but the whole acting silly? Thats not me.

When i act that way, i have to force myself into character because its not something i would do if there wasnt any kind of gain to it.

Same with talking to new people, when im with my friends i dont talk to strangers because im there to have fun, not to screen someone to see if they actually have a meaningful adding to our conversations.

I feel its kind of a paradox because its an approach that tells me to have fun and do things that i find utterly insufferable but as mean to an end without having the end in sight.

Im weird for thinking this?
