You don't need to focus on game- societal conditioning and American prom culture basically dictate all of the rules for you if don't feel like being creative. It sounds like there is plenty of sexual tension to play with anyway. Just keep it up in the prom setting.

Get a corsage, be a gentleman. Make her feel comfortable, especially around her peers.

Go for the kiss in an isolated moment. How she responds to the kiss should make it pretty obvious if you have the option of going down the sexual road if that's what you are looking for.

Prom is the worst time to run game. Be a gentleman, hold the door, get the corsage, and be attentive to her. She wants a romantic experience - give it to her.

If she's 16 or 17, she's not old enough to run real game on anyways. If she's said yes to going to prom with you, she'll probably be game for a kiss or more.
