Hey all,
I live in NYC and I'm sick of internet dating so I've been attempting to overcome my AA with cold approaches. However, I've run into a problem:
Today at the fruit stand I happened into a conversation with a college girl who was buying stuff. I finished my purchase, and wanted to continue the conversation, but she was still in the middle of choosing her produce.
I wanted to stick around and wait for her to finish, but if I did it would come off as creepy or stalkerish. I read a lot of r/niceguys and r/cringe, and my biggest fear is paralleling that behavior. So instead of creeping her out by sticking around and following her to the train, I just said goodnight and split. Living in NYC, I always feel that women hate being approached in public, and any attempt to get a number or speak to a random stranger creeps her out. (I feel that NYC women prefer the internet).
Is there a way to overcome this? or a way to continue the conversation without seeming stalkerish or creepy?
Cheers
