Escalation and kino is NOT your sticking point. you're sticking point is whatever you're doing or not doing before that and its making it awkward to touch her. Y rule of thumb is to be physical from the very start of the interaction. Dont wait until the date to get physical.

I personally have a similar problem. Most of the time i don't feel anything. I like to meet women, and sometimes they are really fun or have something on them i like personality wise, but most of the time i don't feel attraction apart from them looking somehow interesting, and i don't give shit about classical beauty, since it doesn't mean anything to me.

Kiss her on both cheeks at the start of the date. When you start walking take her hand. Or put your arm around her. Touch her while talking, making little gestures, like a tapping on the shoulder. Try to sit closely and if possible not opposite. If she gets uncomfortable, make pauses and refrain from touching. But continue later on. I have had a couple of girls telling me that 'it's too much, it's too fast etc'. Usually the next day they call and I ask them to come over and we fuck immediately. If you don't touch at all it will always end as you said unless she is very interested. But even then after some time she will give up because you don't initiate body contact. If she is fine with touching or holding hands you can kiss her basically any time. Use a moment when you are both waiting for something (lift, the bill etc). Also at the end of the date is fine. Don't kiss her cheek at the end. Kiss her mouth. Sometimes she will turn away her face when you go for the kiss. It is very awkward, but you can try again later. Basically you can kiss any woman. Kissing is fun and you shouldn't make a big deal about it. If she doesn't allow a kiss - what would you do with this woman anyway?

Keep the talking to a minimum. Remember that not every girl is the right person, but you should try anyway because they are black boxes and you cannot tell what they want without trying. Also they will almost never initiate anything. The more touchy you are the sooner you will find out if she reciprocates. It basically triggers almost immediate acceptance or rejections. And that is what you want. You don't want to waste your time talking for hours and hours with every girl you meet.

Start off small always, high fives, hand shakes and a LOT of hugs. Keep giving her hugs from time to time, touch her shoulder, take her hand, playfully tickle her, show her you aren't afraid to touch her.
