I honestly haven't ever seen anyone fuck up this bad. And I think your chance for redemption was gone when you said "okeedokee. bye". The fact that you are oblivious to this point shows you have a few more years of growing up. (That joke stopped being funny in grade 6.)

It doesnt sound like a shit test. If anything she did the 'wrong number' thing so that she can start a conversation, because I guess she didnt want to just say hi.

How old are you/the girl, from this it makes me think 16-18.

And you were kind of a dick. You werent overly mean, that can be fine in a teasing way, you just went out of your way to say "like your face". You lined yourself up for it, and it was just not natural at all.

I would text her in a bit, acting like nothing happened and she what she does.

I find it's always hard giving off the right vibe while teasing over text because it can just seem like outright insulting her, but yea you should just wait. I would've amplified it rather than just brushing it off but that answer was totally acceptable. Just wait and if she doesn't answer for days you can still say something along the lines of "Is the little girl still angry at me? :'(". She will probably then answer Yes and you tease her about being a whiny little bitch (just not in that wording). Case closed.

why are you the one getting all self-conscious about your behavior? is she always such a baby or is she fucking with you? if her reaction is legitimate it would seem to me shes a boring, low-esteem person who cant take even a light amount of teasing.

One thing I learned, if something sounds cool in your head, it will not sound the same in someone else's head. Sarcasm and Cockiness doesn't translate into to text. Text sucks for flirting, especially if she doesn't know you and your humour well.

If this girl was very young, you probably fucked up.

If this girl was something like an HB9 this might have worked, and her "not talking to you" message was just another shit test and you could have broken it another way and pressed on.
