Okay I admit it, I'm a horrible texter. In real life I'm fine, I consider myself an attractive, confident, and social individual, but all those traits go out the window when I'm behind the screen. A few weeks ago I started talking to a girl in my class, which ended up being an insta-date where we ended talking for an hour over some coffee. Everything was going great, I made her laugh, we conversed and I even ended up giving her a ride to something she had to do afterwards. Needless to say I number closed and I felt pretty good about myself.
After a little while I decided to text her with the intention of making plans in the future. I tried to build a little rapport before dropping the question, but my god I messed up, I started asking too many questions and turned the whole thing into an interview. I knew I was doing it too but I was kind of in a hole and I just kept digging deeper! Fast forward to now, we've barely texted due to me not wanting to constantly bother her with asking her out (I've done it once, she agreed but was shaky on the schedule so I wasn't able to lock down a solid date). And in real life, I'd do just the minimal amount of interaction to make it seem normal but not overbearing. So I was just wondering if there's any sort of recovery from this, I really don't mind losing this girl, but I honestly don't want my text game to be the cause of why I'm not closing dates and I want to fix whatever it is that's happening now.

Tl;dr: Met girl, Insta-date, everything was great. #closed but text game ruined my momentum and now I wanna know how I can fix it and bring attraction back or if I should just abandon ship
