Sometimes they don't know their own intentions very well. You have to set the mood and set the frame for the interaction to help them along.

Psych40 nailed it. And the point is to be so confident in yourself that if you don't know, you just ask her and clearly state your intentions. Why wait for her to make her mind up?

Do not listen to "woman is not the leader" theory. Some people do not show their intentions clearly to you until you know them well, and by that time the question has already been answered.

I like to be asked because I am a direct type of person, not all people are ok with confronting anything in life.

What you should ask yourself is, is this person or possible relationship with them worth the investment of my time I am putting in? Put in a lot of time (or effort or money etc) and you can win any women over.

You have a problem in your world view:

You think women are going to hint at you they want to move things further, no, you're a man, presumably, and you are the leader, she isn't a leader. Think biologically, women are passive and men are the leaders, women submit.

Lead her into an interaction, run through your process, and close things out. It's so simple, reactions don't mean shit (laughing, open body language), it's the results you get (sex, dates, relationships). Maybe reactions will make a beginner more certain in moving things forward, but honestly that's just your lack of certainty with women you need to fix to advance at all in seduction.

Yeah Psych40 hit the nail on the head. I'd say about 90% of the time we're hard to read because we haven't got a clue whats going on either.

I obviously can't speak for every woman out there, but in my experience, we wont make up our minds unless the option is either put out there or taken away. Ask her, if she says she's interested? GREAT! If she's not, you have your friend anyway. Chances are if you do nothing she'll move on, or she'll wreck your head if you move on.

With the exception of knowing when you're being a creep and when to back down, you don't really need to know her intentions. You just escalate/ask her out/whatever and find out.
