Hey guys, Is there way to save this situation, where I probably blundered because of overinvestment?

Situation: I cold approached this girl on campus, we hit it off really well and she asked if we wanted to see each other in a sports event. Long story short, we made out heavily this night and maybe I was a bit too hooked. Same moment I asked, whether she wanted to come to a bar after or should we rather continue in her car (next to her) to which she said, she had to wake up early blablabla. Thing we continued flirting over chat and I basically offered a few days in which we could do a "movie night" (which had come up earlier on actually), she answered during week is difficult to which I said "could do Saturday". Saw her on campus the days after, asked "so, when do we see each other", she said until after the vacations it would be difficult but we wanted to meet up the same night for a drink on campus, which she suddenly couldn't come to, because her friend "was feeling sick and she had to bring him home" (yeah I know). She apologized sincerely after I told, that was kinda disrespectful. Anyways, we meet randomly on campus today, I was going to grab a coffee and said "wanna come with", she said she had to work.

So do we go into full ignore mode? And what is the right balance between wanting to "close the deal" and "letting her make the move"?
