One way to find out; go talk to her. If you avoided eye-contact with her and ignored her, she may have taken that as rejection and put you aside. Avoiding/ignoring a girl is the same thing as saying no, just in a more hurtful way. You may still be on the edge of the rope wither her, so to speak. Either way, you stand more to lose by not talking to her than just going to say hello.

You haven't necessarily made a first impression yet, just that you are at the gym to workout. The way your post sounds, you're already talking like she's the only girl in your world. She's not. Say something and don't get hung up on one girl if it doesn't work out the way you want it to.

1) it's called a first impression for a reason. No you don't get a second 2) she could still be interested, you won't ever know if you don't say something
