Start the date by hugging her when you see her. And touch her asap, arms and legs are safe areas. If she has an jewelry, tell her you want to see it, take her hand and fondle the jewelry. Look for signs of comfort or that she likes you taking her hand. If so, keep holding.

These aren't things you wait for dating for. Touching (again lightly and in safe areas) are likely going to make her skin tingle and turn her on. Think of this way, humans had been bonding and mating for a long time before language became sophisticated, so there's a lot built into the touch sensation.

Just go with whatever feels right. Is holding hands weird before officially being bf/gf? No. Would I hold a chicks hand before kissing her? Not my style. I won't really get cute with a chick till we've kissed.

Offer her an arm at least, and be confident about it. Don't be touchy feely, only creepy PUAs think brushing parts of a woman's body works. All touch should start with the hands first.
