While traveling I noticed a strange trend while going out. Normally, here in Belgium, if you want to seduce a girl, the guy has to make the first move. However, while going out in Canada, I found that by just having fun and going crazy on the music (live band, they were amazing), I got approached by three different girls within two hours. In Belgium this number usually would be zero.

What surprised me even more was that these girls were pretty straight forward; "you're hot, want to dance?" or simply "Wanna make out?". I consider myself as a normal looking guy; I'm even quite short.

I'm trying to make sense of this evening.. Was it because people could see I was not from around (my behavior, my clothing, ...), was it because I was minding my own business and having lots of fun, regardless wether I would score that night out not , or was it simply because girls are way more direct over there?

I noticed this trend continued during my stay, as well as this happened to me before on other holidays, while I have trouble seducing just one girl back home.

Has anyone else experienced as well? Is it really easier somewhere else, or could it have been my behavior which was different.
