I love coffee dates. They are such great ways of getting to know someone. I can talk for hours, and through this conversation, I learn a lot about the other person. It is a wonderful experience and one that can really bond two people. But if done incorrectly, it can have the opposite effect and push two people away.
One detail I think you should add if you are going to go on a coffee date is to buy something to share, like a platter of food. By sharing you are bonding, even if it is a subtle way.
I like to go to my local coffee shop and order the hummus platter on dates. We both share it and it creates a nice feeling of mutuality. This is something I found out when a girl ordered a hummus platter for us to share on one date.
I know this post is short, but I thought it was a valuable detail I just had to share with the community.
