Yes. Ask her out somewhere, you don't even need to make it seem like a "date", just a "hey let's do something". Just meet her somewhere, then kino. Kino kino kino. Brush hands on the door, play footsies a little bit, whatever. Tap her shoulder to get her attention about something that isn't that important. Whatever. It doesn't matter. If she's 25 she'll probably know what's going on. And you want her to know that. Keep eye contact with her, see if she returns it. Is she playing with her hair? Is she laughing at all your jokes? Basically, does she actually like you or not? You're communicating to her that you are through the physical contact and asking to see her and what not, see how her body language reads. Is it open? Is it closed?

When it comes time to talk talks, you two talk about whatever 6 month window is there. But actions speak louder than words, and you need to be loud right now.

Anyways, if you guys really do get along that well, have an excuse to get back to your apartment, provided that apartment isn't in your parents basement. You talked about books or something? Well then you have one to lend her. Some kind of connection that you can use to bring her into your place of dwelling. The rest you just let happen. But if she's hanging out with you, alone, at your place, she's probably expecting a certain behavior (Hint: the sexual kind).

Just take action. If you go too far I'm sure she'll let you know.

And even if she outright rejects you, worst case scenario she's out the door after an awkward ten or fifteen seconds. Then you don't need to sweat her, and you found out that it wasn't going to work. But that sure beats wondering kid.

If you have to ask this question, the answer is yes. The question you should be asking is, "How should I ask her out?"

You've known her for entirely too long and should have escalated much earlier. The best way I can think of that this could work would be to start jokingly acting attracted to her and at some point let her know you're serious.

Call her up. The first words out of your mouth should be, "Hey, sexy." Keep the conversation short, and invite her out for a beer/coffee. Then ask your next question here and await further instructions.

Dude, you've got a serious case of oneitis. She can probably sense your desperation, and if you're friends are telling you she's not interested, she probably isn't. Regardless, giving someone else so much power over you isn't healthy. This attitude borders on obsession, and it's totally unattractive.

Your only hope to recover from a LJBF scenario is to pull away. Get her out of your head. You need to spend quality time with yourself, your friends and date other girls. Read this post by quazzy and work on improving your social life in every aspect.

If you still want to date this person in 3-6 months, pull her out of your back pocket. But first you need to show yourself that you don't need her, or any other girl for that matter. Also consider that she's moving away next June anyway. This hypothetical relationship isn't sustainable.

Another thing: Asking someone to be your girlfriend is sixth grade awkward crush status. You'd best get to learning.
