Definitely do whatever you want on the dating site but stick with the models, especially if they're cool guys. Be confident around them (as you would be all of the time) and you should have no meeting girls that will be interested in you.

Also, keep going out with the model guys - looks is one thing, game is another and who knows maybe when it comes to that you're even better than them.

Online dating is a good way to ease back into the game. I've dated 5 cool girls off there and have enjoyed myself. I felt the same way about internet dating until my parents both met their new SO via internet and I realized you don't get a happiness penalty if you meet someone via internet. Just give it a try, if it doesn't work for you not like you are losing anything, and who knows you might get lucky.

Personally, I can't deal with such detached interactions of dating sites, I need face-to-face communication from the start. Don't let my ideas discount it for you though, as I assume that it couldn't hurt your chances.

Regardless of what the rest of the comments say, out-stripping models is going to be difficult. Having good looks adds to your confidence and makes them a force to be reckoned with.

Don't stop hanging out with them. Do stop caring about whether you pick up girls when you are with them. Make it your goal to meet as many new people as you can while you are out with them (should be easy, people like them are social magnets). If you can be outcome-independent, girls will pick up on that.
