You have to find the right girl if you want to "settle down". Having a regular GF is not a problem, you just have to not have wandering eyes and be willing to build a trusting relationship.

You seem to be under the impression that there's a dichotomy between committed and casual. You don't just fire up Tinder and ask a girl to be your long term partner. You can have a girlfriend without buying her a house. Most girls are gonna run away if you ask them to be your girlfriend if you haven't been seeing each other casually for a couple of months. And they'll run away when you ask them to meet your mom the next day lol. I have a girlfriend but we both have goals and ambitions. We support each other, and sometimes that support involves being comfortable being apart from each other while we take care of our shit. A relationship can be whatever you make of it. You don't have to conform to these preconceived ideas you have. No matter the case, you're gonna want to follow the advice here for getting your foot in the door. And unless you want to end up 35 living in a studio apartment, drinking whiskey, reading the divorce papers, and wondering where it all went wrong; you'd better not just tie down the first average girl who says she likes you. Even people is search of a partner use casual dating to find out whether or not the person they like is someone worth committing to long term. If you're gonna settle down, you'd might as well put some serious effort into finding and keeping the right girl! That might take a little practice.

Im 22 and I feel a wanting to settle down sometimes......I kinda want a stable gf.It would be cool to have someone to share your life/moments with,someone to come home to,depend on,take home to mom and maybe talk about starting a life together.

Perfectly natural feelings. And also totally up to you, whether this is the priority for you. No one else could tell you otherwise.

On the other hands their are many perks to being single like a lot of random hookups,no rules basically,flirting with hotties,no drama,crazy parties,traveling alone and meeting cute girls,and I might regret settling so young.

Two things:

It might not be time to settle down yet.
Being single has plenty of drama if your screening process for casual encounters is poor.

Next year I have alot of trips planned like tokyo,nyc and cancun and its gonna be a lot of fun and so many hot women everywhere.. So it would suck having a gf then....

Ultimately it's up to you what matters more. Having someone you're building a long term thing with, or having the short term fun. Both are completely valid.

I'd say that you owe it to yourself to dissect what love is for you. For example:

The feeling of someone being in love with you..... not terribly important in itself.
Being available to you 24/7 is REALLY low on the scale of importance. Or it should be.
