Should I message before the date or let anticipation build?

Send her a text to confirm for your own sake before the date. If you plan dates long ahead and you can't meet girls ASAP it's a you problem though, you're putting yourself in a bad situation to begin with. Nothing you can do if you plan a date for next weekend but she meets a guy in the club tomorrow. Texting more to "keep the vibe up" in the meantime is going to kill all anticipation though and that's for sure.

Just don't try to make plans with girls you can't meet quick in the future. If you're too busy just focus on work and go back to Tinder when you know you have more free time.

It doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t text them just for the sake of “keeping it alive.”

I’ve seen girls complaining that the guy didn’t text a day or 2 before the date, and girls complaining why the guy texted a day before the date. To the point where I think some of them will complain if you breathe too slow lol. If your goal is to pander them, you’ll never win.

that is very far out. I think you have to stay in communication to some degree keep it light and funny. Save the good stuff for the actual date. pepper in some good mornings with how's your day etc. I'm sure others can add to what things to say. post cool stuff on socials.

text for logistics or to keep the fire of attraction burning, just like a camp fire/ throw a log on if you need to

Two weeks is a very long lead time to set up a first date. Should aim to do it within the same week. Normally I would say no texting before the date but you may need to at least keep up some line of conversation to keep yourself in the picture so they don't forget about you and flake last minute.

Two weeks is a long time for a date. You’re not going to wait two weeks and then show up for your dates without any communication in between, are you?

It’s ok to keep the conversation going and with that amount of time in between, you should do phone call or schedule a video chat to keep some level of attraction.

Two weeks from now, she might not even remember why she liked you in the first place…
