I matched with this woman on Bumble.

We connected soon and after a quick chat we found out we have a friend in common.

I asked her out and she replied "I don't like this app. I'm going to delete it. This is my number" and she gave me her number.

Her match disappeared but if I search her name on bumble I find the conversation and it says "account deleted". So she said the truth, she didn't unmatch me, she really deleted her account.

I added her and messaged her on WhatsApp.

We messaged for a few days, not much as both of us took ages to reply, sometimes an entire day. In total we probably sent 3 or 4 messages each. (I have to say she set this pace).

At some point I said "you owe me an answer. Would you like to meet me for a drink?".

She said yes, then I replied trying to find out when we both were free and at the end sent a voice message: "do you pronounce your name this way or that way?" being she of a different nationality and with a name I wasn't sure how to pronounce.

She left me on read. This was on Monday and I still haven't had an answer.

I'm sure it's not a scam as we have a friend in common and she knew many things.

She sounded interested from the previous messages, the switch to silence was sudden.

I like her a lot and I'd like to do what's possible for a date.

4 days are gone and no answer and at this point I'm sure she's not going to get back to me so I was thinking to send another message.

What do you suggest? My idea, since she didn't reply when I asked her to teach me how to pronounce her name, is to message "did I offend you by totally mispronouncing your name 🫢?".

If she doesn't reply that would be my last message. It's just because I really don't know what to message.

I've not been hearing from the common friend for a while and we're not very close anymore otherwise I would easily ask her to arrange to go out together.
