41M into women here.

Honestly, this is not a joke and I don't want to criticize anyone. I am genuinely interested in the answer to the question I asked.

I would genuinely love to have a serious relationship but for that I need to know the right person first. Then with that person I will look for a serious relationship. Not before meeting the person. I don't look generally for a serious relationship, I don't need it and I don't see how someone could. It's not like a free position and interviewing people for it.

To date someone I just need to feel the attraction, that's the only necessary thing and dating them, even for long time, doesn't necessarily mean I want it to be serious.

When I get told by someone they're looking for something serious in OLD it always come across like "I'm alone and desperate and sex is a bad thing".

Paradoxically i couldn't have a serious relationship with someone who's against casual dating cause we're too different and there won't be time or way be build a deep connection. The connection I can build with someone after something serious is actually very superficial as i feel they're looking for a relationship as anyone could look for a house or a job or a car. To me it feels materialistic. Whilst dating is a human thing.

Besides that, I'm really puzzled about the procedure. Can someone enlighten me how looking for something serious work? Honestly I want to know how they plan to get from A to B where A is they being single and B is they being in a serious relationship.

Also, for these people, what's wrong with dating a person just cause they like being in their company, or sex with them? I really don't understand.

When I hear a woman saying she's looking for something serious i feel soon restrained to the point I can't breathe. I feel so uncomfortable and pressured even before I have met her that is not tolerable for me.

All the fuckbois I know suggest me to ignore what women say but I like to communicate the woman how I feel and my intentions, I like to be myself and honest. I value my integrity.

If I wrote I'm looking for something casual it would be a lie cause I'm open to a serious relationship. I only want to get there in a way that feels right for me.

I already avoid all the women who write they're looking to settle down and when during the conversation they say they're after something serious I politely explain we're not on the same page. The problem is these women are the majority in England, which is where I live.

I would honestly and genuinely love to understand their point of view.

I repeat: I'm not trolling, I'm not criticizing. I only want to understand cause this problem is making feel really down.
