You should reply whenever TF you wanna reply. Be sporadic, I’ll reply in seconds, mins or even hours depending on what I’m doing. It’s so wack how we made up this wait exactly X mins rule.

So listen, the reason this comes up is because when you are learning seduction you’re likely a needy asshat at first.. it’s just to stop you from replying instantly, constantly. It’s a text message. How much are you really gonna learn from her over text? Is she really interested in the boring words you’re typing? No..
Just use the phone like you want. Have hobbies that take up your time and you’ll notice that you aren’t trying to not reply, you’re TOO BUSY BEING AWESOME to reply right away..
If you live a boring life, like all you do is work, study and hit the gym: yeah, just wait man. It still applies. Is she more important than your studying? Really? Just don’t reply constantly right away, it makes you seem needy.
Your life has gone on for 20+ years without her. There’s hundreds of things in your life that are more important than her, so why are you jumping to the phone to reply? That’s what she will be thinking subconsciously.
Good luck fam
EDIT: the example I gave above applies to me, and that’s why I used it. I work 50 hours a week take 5 classes at the uni. I have hobbies, but work and school take up most of my time and guess what? I sit on my phone through both of them. So.. obviously I can reply instantly if I want to.
BUT IM TOO BUSY READING REDDIT ABOUT THINGS I ENJOY TO EVEN READ HER MESSAGE YET. So, even if you have no cool shit going on and that’s to no fault of your own, just wait to reply. Yes, is the answer. lol

I’ve never understood why anyone would wait X amount of minutes to respond to someone so they don’t seem desperate or too clingy. If someone is responding quickly to me, most of the time I do not even notice but if I were to, I haven’t ever thought they were weird. I don’t like slow conversations so when someone purposely waits to text me back, nothing bothers me more.

I know, I answer texts when I grab my phone, might be instant if Im using it or more if im not. Bothers me when you are texting someone and you answer instantly to their text and then they wait long to answer you. Like its obvious you saw the text it wasnt even 10 seconds

'text game' is vastly overestimated IMHO. If you find yourself stressing out over whether you are texting too soon or not then it's usually a sign that you are in a weak position with a girl.
The aim of 'text game' isn't to add value through texting or turn around a losing position, it's merely to 'not fuck thing up'. Fuck all the chit-chat with them, they can get the validation and attention from their friends. One text a day is enough from us and the focus should just be on getting dates and banging them.

I only use text game to do one thing. Meet up. That's it. That simple. I'm terrible at holding conversations through text, but in person I kill it, meet up meet up meet up.

Nice one. Numbers should only be taken if she's already agreed to a date in principle (otherwise what's the point of taking the number?). If she gives the number then texting is simply a matter of arranging a date. https://daygamersbible.wordpress.com/2018/05/27/first-text-response-times/

Let's say you lead a fulfilling life (might even be your case), would you answer right away when you are at work? With friends? When you are training?
No! That's what you are trying to emulate.
Event better: Lead a fulfilling life, you won't have to emulate one!

I guess... I usually answer when I grab my phone. Might be instant if Im using it when I get the text or more when I grab it.

If you believe the concept of high value/status guys do X, but low value/status guys do Y - then "Brad Pitt"/"Derek Jeter" wouldn't answer any text timely. George Clooney is too busy being cool to always check his phone.
The theory says that a guy that ALWAYS replies timely, that sends more texts, longer texts, etc is showing "low value behavior".
There are other ideas on this topic, but that's what the idea of timing your texts/time to reply/length/frequency is about.

You believe this yourself?

Can't speak for him, but IMO, there's definitely something to it.
If you are always responding within 5 minutes, you're going to come off as "eager", "needy" or "desperate". It's fine to get back to her within a few minutes every now and again, but if you're always doing it, that's just going to come off like you've got nothing going on in your life.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Waiting to reply to a text is a stupid game.
Text when you're able to -- if you're genuinely busy then don't text back.
This forces you to fill your time with other things so that you are **genuinely** busy so that you won't text back immediately. Believe me, it works
[–]Mathew_F 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Yes definitely, 10-15 minutes minimum.

For real?

The point is to give the impression that you can't always be on your phone, because you shouldn't. You should be working or doing something productive.
[–]iceCoder 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes.

I'm not a fan of the waiting game. I feel like text convos always end up feeling stale, so as soon as I make them laugh I ask to meet up, where I know I'll kill it 9 out of 10 times.
Smart strat

I like to wait to not seem desperate. Just keep doing what you were doing and reply in a good stopping point. Show you are a busy with ambitions. If you are not, wait about 20-30min
[–]CelticAxolotl 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's a balancing act. Respond immediately sometimes. If you're not busy. If you're driving, you shouldn't be responding to texts anyways. Cooking? Playing a video game? Watching porn? Respond when you're ready to respond.
Don't always be immediately available, but don't never be either.
[–]Thegreyeminence 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You should not reply immediately but somewhere after waiting 10-30 minutes.
She needs to understand that she is not your top priority and that she needs to invest first before you become more committed.
To give her a signal that her investment is appreciated reduce to reply time frame window slowly.
However it is important to not to forget that casual texting should not be your goal.

Never wait. Just answer when you can, its alway cool to have "this person" who alway message quick
But isnt "that person" the friend?
[–]soloiomid 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well the trick is to actually be busy so you don’t have to ask this question
