To limit the question. We are talking about the beginning of dating. So before a date or a few dates in.Maybe you hooked up. But still there isn't clear investing from the girls side. And of course you are trying to set up a date.

​ Pros calling:

- shows boldness

- you stand out from all the other guys texting

- you can seduce a bit more with your tone of voice etc.

​ Cons calling:

- girls are not used to it anymore so they can get anxiety

- too pushy

- Picking up is already investing so she won't pick up

- a good phone call is a skill so when not used to it there is a learning curve

​The pros and cons of texting are obvious. It is easier for both parties and you can think about what to text.

I often think about calling a girl when I sense she is beginning to flake or slow fade on me. Texting isn't really working somehow at that point. And I want to shake things up a bit.
