Long story short I've been having great sex with this girl and we kept our dates to once a week. I normally am the first one to reach out to her after a couple of days after a date to schedule the next one. Prior to the third date I made sure I set the stage for her to reach out to me and hit the ball back over the net to test her attraction level.

She ends up texting me later that evening, and even the following day. I would exchange minimal text and would always end with " I gotta run, Great to hear from you, let me know what day you're available to get together this week" or something along those lines. Two days before the weekend she ends up texting me and asking me out for our third date. I of course accept and we had a great time and had sex all night per usual.

The next day before I leave I make sure to hit the ball back over the net again. We make out and when we say goodbye I end with "alright, text me later" in which she replies " I will!".

Fast forward to today it's been a full week and I haven't heard anything from her. Of course this means one of two things.

She's back with an ex or is hooking up with someone else. Which is what I'm assuming as we definitely weren't exclusive at this point. Or, I did something wrong in the last date that has lowered her attraction level.

My biggest question is, do I try to set up a date beginning of next week? Or do I walk away and never look back? Normally I would just assume the role of reaching out and scheduling a date. But since I knocked the ball over the net and she confirmed that she would reach out to me, then asking her out after she confirmed she would contact me is seems like it's over pursuing on my part.

Any insight would be helpful. In any case I'm definitely taking this as a unique learning experience in understanding women. Thanks for help everyone!
