I’m pretty monogamous. Developing a harem is a long and exhausting process and statistically you get more sex and enjoy the sex more from a high quality LTR. The single life is not for me.

Well you're doing an either/or question. There is also the in between. Having a harem, multiple fuckbuddies, friends with benefits, girls that you fuck but also connect with and don't have any labels on it, polyamorous (loving many) etc.

Perhaps in your mind you only see, shallow sex vs serious monogamous relationship.

I like the shallow sex sometimes because it feels great and is fun but it doesn't fulfill all my needs.

I don't like the idea of a long term relationship because I don't feel ready for one.

I like the in between stuff the best. Where I fuck but also connect with the girls I'm with and keep seeing them.
